Penguin Recruitment is seeking a Senior Acoustic Consultant to lead acoustic projects across sectors and mentor the team in a collaborative, sustainability-focused environment. You will manage client relationships, develop robust acoustic solutions, and contribute to BIM integration and innovative sound strategies.

The role emphasizes on-site testing, model-driven analysis, and clear communication with stakeholders, while offering a supportive, growth-oriented workplace.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in building acoustics with standards knowledge.
• Clear communication of technical information to clients.
• Hands-on experience with sound insulation testing and construction analysis.
• Proficient modelling using acoustics software: CATT, Odeon, INSUL, Cadna/A, and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from inception to completion.
• Deliver technical excellence in building acoustics and ensure standards compliance.
• Present acoustic information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Conduct site work including sound insulation tests and vibration assessments.
• Utilise BIM tools and collaborate with architects and clients to integrate acoustic solutions.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to process improvements.
