Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting a Senior Manager to join the Accounts team in Reading, leading a portfolio of clients and delivering advanced accounting and corporate tax work within a growing firm. You will supervise the bookkeeping team, review accounts and tax work for quality, build strong client relationships and support business growth with strategic input.

• Experience leading a client portfolio in an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering accounts and corporation tax services while ensuring deadlines are met.
• Provide technical support on complex accounting areas including UK subsidiaries of international clients, group consolidations, VAT and corporate tax.
• Review accounts and tax work for compliance and quality.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and delivering high-quality service.
• Support business growth and strategy.
