Job summary

ProTalent Limited in Ashford, Kent is seeking an Accounts Manager / Senior Manager to manage a portfolio of SME clients and lead the accounts team. The role focuses on reviewing accounts with a strong emphasis on quality, providing feedback, and maintaining close collaboration with partners.

The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified (or part-qualified/qualified by experience), have 5+ years in practice, and be confident in leading client meetings and staff development.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience.
• At least 5 years' recent experience in a similar practice role.
• Strong knowledge of FRS 102, including Section 1A.
• Confident reviewing work and developing others.
• Comfortable leading client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Managing your own portfolio of SME clients.
• Completing and reviewing a wide variety of accounts.
• Reviewing the accounts team's work and owning the quality of what goes out.
• Giving feedback and developing the team.
• Meeting clients and taking ownership of the relationship.
• Supporting the partners with day-to-day matters.
• Keeping work on track against deadlines and internal budgets.
