Job summary

Christopher Brian Recruitment Limited is representing an independent accountancy practice in Sevenoaks seeking a Senior Accounts Manager to join their close-knit team. You will oversee a portfolio of clients, review accounts and tax work, provide practical tax advice and help manage the team while remaining hands-on with complex assignments.

This role offers high exposure within a supportive firm, autonomy to influence practice development, and direct involvement with Partners.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/FCCA with extensive UK practice experience.
• Experience reviewing statutory accounts for various business structures.
• Ability to advise on corporation and personal tax matters.

Responsibilities

• Review statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
• Oversee corporation tax and personal tax compliance.
• Provide practical tax advice to clients.
• Prepare and review complex accounting and tax assignments.
• Use accounting and tax software to manage work efficiently.
• Monitor workloads, deadlines and team performance.
• Maintain high technical standards and review work.
• Support and develop junior and senior team members.
• Manage client relationships and address technical queries.
• Work closely with Partners on day-to-day practice operations.
