Job summary

Wallace White in Glasgow is seeking an Accounts Manager or Senior Manager to lead a varied client portfolio and act as a trusted adviser to owner-managed businesses across construction, hospitality, healthcare, recruitment and professional services.

You will directly manage client relationships while collaborating with senior leadership on strategic matters and mentoring junior staff within a growth-oriented firm.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent is required.
• Experience managing or reviewing work of junior staff.
• Confident communicator with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills for multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of owner-managed business clients and primary contact.
• Reviewing statutory accounts, VAT, and management reporting with the team.
• Supporting corporate and personal tax matters with internal specialists.
• Delivering proactive commercial advice and building client relationships.
• Mentoring and developing junior team members.
• Managing workflow across multiple assignments with high service delivery.
• Supporting Partners in driving an advisory-led growth approach.
