Job summary

S&W is seeking a talented qualified Accountant with practice experience to deliver efficient client service within a multi-office firm. The role supports portfolio work, liaises with other departments, and helps maintain smooth department operations.

Based at Edinburgh, Stirling or Kirkcaldy, the position requires attendance roughly four days a week with a recruiter briefing for specifics. ACA/CA/ACCA or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in practice accounting using FRS 102 standards.
• Client-facing role experience within a professional services firm.
• Accounts work across small to large entities with consolidation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounts for a range of companies under FRS 102.
• Support junior team members with development of technical skills.
• Manage a portfolio of clients and meet deadlines.
• Establish relationships with client contacts and ensure proactive service.
• Identify issues and escalate to Partner or Director with updates.
