Job summary

Hawthorne-Finch Talent Solutions Ltd. in Bury is seeking an Accounts & Audit Senior to join its growing audit and advisory team. The role is 75% audit and 25% accounts/advisory, with a hybrid working model and clear progression to Manager.

You will lead statutory audits, prepare financial statements under UK GAAP, and develop client relationships while supervising junior staff. A proactive, organised mindset and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA part-qualified or fully qualified.
• 2-4+ years' UK accountancy practice experience with audit.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards; statutory accounts experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and complete statutory audits from planning to completion.
• Produce year-end accounts for corporate clients.
• Develop client relationships and act as a key point of contact.
• Supervise and develop junior team members.
• Support on ad hoc advisory and business projects.
