Job summary

Hawthorne-Finch Talent Solutions Ltd, on behalf of a client, seeks an Accounts & Audit Manager in Bury with hybrid working. You will lead a diverse client portfolio, predominantly audit, and mentor high-performing teams while shaping the firm’s growth trajectory.

The role offers progression to Senior Manager and Director-level leadership, with a focus on delivering integrated audit, accounts and advisory services in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification with 3–6+ years' PQE in UK accountancy practice.
• Experience managing an audit or mixed client portfolio.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS 102) and auditing standards (ISA UK).

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate and owner-managed businesses and build strong client relationships.
• Deliver a joined-up service across audit, accounts and advisory.
• Oversee statutory audits from planning to completion and review financial statements under FRS 102.
