Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is partnering with a long-established local business to recruit a Senior Accounts Assistant in the St. Ives area.

This full-time, office-based role offers exposure to a progressive finance function and clear development opportunities as you grow with the team. You will handle sales ledger activities, assist with purchase ledgers, and contribute to month-end workflows under the guidance of the financial controller.

Qualifications

• Studying towards AAT Level 3 or 4, or professional qualifications like ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent experience.
• Solid understanding of double-entry accounting and strong numerical skills.
• Confident communicator with ability to build relationships across the business.

Responsibilities

• Process sales ledger transactions, cash receipts and reconciliations.
• Maintain and reconcile credit card and petty cash records.
• Assist with purchase ledger during peak periods.
