Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join its finance team in Eastleigh, Hampshire. The role involves supporting month-end close, payroll transition, and transactional finance duties within a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate is currently part-qualified and developing broader financial expertise, with strong Excel skills and good communication to work with senior finance professionals.

Qualifications

• Currently studying part-qualified or actively working towards relevant qualifications.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Good communication and teamwork, proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support the month-end close cycle through balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
• Assist with payroll processes and transition from weekly to monthly payroll.
• Manage transactional finance functions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis projects.
• Support audit preparations and other ad hoc financial activities.
