The role requires a fully ICAEW or ACCA qualified accountant with strong technical knowledge and excellent people skills, capable of balancing client service with team development and ensuring high-quality, timely accounts reviews.

Qualifications

• Fully ICAEW or ACCA qualified accountant.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with experience in reviewing accounts.
• Experience leading and developing accounting staff.
• Experience with healthcare clients such as GP practices is advantageous.
• Proficient with accounting software and MS Office; advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse team of accounting staff, including apprentices.
• Manage a varied portfolio of client accounting work and ensure timeliness.
• Oversee preparation and review of annual accounts and complex issues.
• Provide technical guidance to the team and ensure compliance with standards.
