Job summary

Stewart Johnson Partners Limited in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, is seeking a Senior Accountant with多年 years' practice experience to manage a varied client portfolio and deliver year-end accounts.

You will work on IRIS and Xero, liaise with clients, and have flexibility around hours; part-time hours considered for the right candidate. Office-based position with an ASAP start preferred.

Qualifications

• Several years' experience within an accountancy practice.
• Strong hands‑on experience preparing year-end accounts.
• Confidence managing your own workload, deadlines and client communication.
• Flexibility around hours for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end accounts for a varied portfolio of clients.
• Manage client work accurately and within agreed deadlines.
• Liaise directly with clients regarding accounts and queries.
• Take on work currently handled at Partner level.
• Potentially review work prepared by other team members.
• Maintain accurate client records and work closely with the wider practice team.
• Use systems including IRIS, Xero, Workiro and Microsoft 365.
