Job summary

Reed Practice is partnering with a respected independent accountancy firm in Suffolk to recruit an experienced Senior Accountant or Client Manager, with a view to progression to a senior leadership position. This role offers a clear progression path within a growing practice.

The position remains hands-on, handling accounting and tax compliance while building knowledge, relationships and influence for future leadership within the firm.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Experience as a Senior Accountant/Client Manager/Practice Manager level
• Strong accounts preparation and tax compliance skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Motivated to contribute to strategic leadership of a practice

Responsibilities

• Managing a diverse portfolio of clients and building trusted relationships
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for entities and tax compliance work
• Working across FRS 102 and FRS 105 reporting frameworks
• Preparing VAT returns and self-assessment tax returns
• Providing insightful financial analysis and practical commercial advice
• Supporting on complex assignments and advisory projects
• Managing workflow and budgets to ensure timely delivery
• Maintaining high technical and quality standards and client service
• Mentoring and supporting colleagues to foster a collaborative environment
