Job summary

Search Consultancy LTD in Grangemouth is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage a varied portfolio of accounts, tax and compliance work while delivering a high-quality service and building strong, long-term client relationships.

The role includes preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, corporation tax computations and returns, and mentoring junior team members. Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to prepare and review statutory accounts and tax work.
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail and client focus.
• Experience with cloud accounting tools and modern practice software.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
• Preparing corporation tax computations and returns.
• Preparing personal tax returns and associated compliance work.
• Managing workloads effectively and ensuring assignments are completed within budgets and deadlines.
• Coaching, supporting and reviewing the work of junior colleagues.
• Staying updated with accounting standards and tax legislation.
