Job summary

Search Consultancy LTD is recruiting on behalf of an established accountancy practice in Grangemouth for an experienced Accountant to join the team and manage a varied portfolio of accounts, tax and compliance work while delivering a high-quality service and building long-term client relationships.

You will prepare and review statutory accounts and corporation and personal tax returns, support junior colleagues, and contribute to process improvements in a dynamic, supportive firm.

Qualifications

• Recognised accountancy qualification such as ICAS, ACCA or equivalent.
• Experience in general accountancy practice and delivering accounts/tax work.
• Strong knowledge across accounts prep, corporation tax, personal tax and VAT compliance.
• Ability to manage assignments from start to finish with limited supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory accounts for various entities (limited companies, sole traders, partnerships).
• Prepare corporation tax computations and returns; prepare personal tax returns and related compliance work.
• Manage workloads to meet budgets and deadlines; identify and resolve issues.
• Liaise with clients to gather information, answer queries and explain technical matters.
• Coach, support and review junior colleagues; maintain well-documented working papers.
