Qualifications

• Min 3 years experience in an accountancy practice.
• Experience with statutory and management accounts, tax returns.
• Ability to manage a client portfolio and oversee junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse client portfolio including client meetings.
• Prepare accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, Limited Companies.
• Complete corporation tax computations and VAT work.

Job Description
TPF Recruitment's client, a highly successful firm of chartered accountants based in Tunbridge Wells is looking for a part time Senior Accountant / Client Manager to join their team, 2 or 3 days a week. This will be a hands on position where you will be responsible for managing a varied client portfolio across statutory accounts, management accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT. You will have increasing responsibility and the opportunity to progress within your career and develop technically in this exciting client manager position. Our client promotes a friendly and relaxed working environment, where you can maintain an excellent work life balance and also have the opportunity to work from home 1 day a week.

• Managing a diverse client portfolio, including attending client meetings
• Preparation of accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies
• Corporation tax computations
• Completing more complex management accounts, bookkeeping ad VAT work
• Overseeing basic bookkeeping and VAT returns from more junior staff

Requirements

Senior Accountant / Client Manager:

• Preferably qualified ACA/ACCA or by experience
• 3+ years experience within an accountancy practice experience
• Experience preparing accounts and tax returns.
• Experience of Iris and/ or Xero would be advantageous.

Benefits

• £40,000 - £50,000 FTE dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
