Job summary

Blusource Professional Services Ltd in Mansfield is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant (or Manager level) to join their growing team, handling a varied portfolio for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, and liaising with clients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in practice accounting with sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Confident in managing client portfolios and delivering year-end accounts.
• Strong communication and advisory potential for client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Bookkeeping and maintaining accurate client records
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Preparing year-end accounts through to management review
• Producing management accounts where required
• Attending client meetings and providing ongoing accounting support
• Training clients on Xero and QuickBooks
• Reviewing work and supporting junior members of the team
• Assisting with the implementation of new accounting software and improving internal processes
