An established and highly regarded accountancy practice based in Mansfield is recruiting an experienced Senior Accountant (or Manager level) to join their growing team. The role covers managing client portfolios and producing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, with scope to take on advisory and management accounting duties.

The successful candidate will be involved in client meetings, review of work by juniors, and potential progression as client relationships

Qualifications

• Experience in practice accounting and managing client portfolios across sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Ability to develop advisory and management accounting experience with progression potential.

Responsabilités

• Managing a portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Bookkeeping and maintaining accurate client records.
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
• Preparing year-end accounts through to management review.
• Producing management accounts where required.
• Attending client meetings and providing ongoing accounting support.
• Training clients on Xero and QuickBooks.
• Reviewing work and supporting junior members of the team.
• Assisting with the implementation of new accounting software and improving internal processes.
