Job summary
Blusource is recruiting for an accountancy firm in Gainsborough offering a Semi-Senior level role with flexibility to hire from Assistant Accountant through to Senior Accountant. Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications, with study support available for AAT/ACA/ACCA and 2 days per week hybrid work.
The role involves preparing financial statements, supporting audits, tax computations, managing client portfolios and providing software guidance.
Qualifications
- Accounting experience at semi-senior level is valuable
- Study support available for AAT/ACA/ACCA qualifications
- Applicants without qualifications may apply if they have the right experience
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Support audit engagements when needed
- Produce business tax computations with supporting schedules
- Manage a portfolio of clients and handle year-end accounts
- Assist with management accounts, bookkeeping and VAT returns
- Guide clients on suitable accounting software for their needs
- Carry out general administrative duties to maintain client service
- Support managers on assignments both in the office and on-site
