ACCA Careers seeks a Senior Accountant for its Bideford-based client to deliver hands-on accounts work with increasing responsibility. You will prepare and review year-end accounts, tax returns, VAT and bookkeeping, mentoring juniors and enhancing client relations in a growing practice.

Hybrid work and study support are on offer, with flexible hours; a route to managerial progression within a supportive team is emphasised.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ACA qualification or working toward qualification.
• Experience preparing accounts and tax for various client types.
• Hybrid working arrangement and study support are offered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review year-end accounts and tax for sole traders, partnerships and LTDs.
• Review work and support junior staff in a hands-on role.
• Maintain client relationships and provide bookkeeping advice.
• Involve in VAT returns and wider tax compliance duties.
