Job summary

Equation Recruitment is partnering with a highly regarded accountancy firm in Banbury to recruit a Qualified Accounts Senior. The role offers a hybrid working pattern, structured career progression and study support, with a culture that values development and work-life balance.

You will prepare and review client accounts and tax returns, collaborate with clients, and contribute to business advisory projects while mentoring junior staff. Xero, Sage 50 and CCH experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified with minimum 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice or related sectors.
• Strong analytical skills and proactive problem solving for client relationships.
• Tech-forward mindset and experience using cloud software such as Xero, Sage 50 or CCH.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing client accounts and tax returns with precision.
• Collaborating with clients to provide expert financial advice across industries.
• Supporting business advisory projects, tax planning and compliance initiatives.
• Mentoring junior team members and fostering knowledge sharing.
• Staying ahead of industry trends and leveraging cloud technology.
