DJH is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our accounts team in Chester. You will work with managers and directors to provide high-quality advice to clients in a fast-paced environment, developing your career as part of a forward-thinking firm.

Role involves preparing year-end statements, tax calculations, and mentoring junior staff, all while building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualification or near qualification is required.
• Experience with a variety of clients, including owner-managed businesses.
• Tech-savvy with knowledge of CCH is desirable.
• Thrive in a collaborative, progressive environment.
• Excellent communication skills and client-relations mindset.

Responsabilités

• Partner with clients, offering tailored advice to streamline accounting processes.
• Cultivate long-lasting client relationships.
• Prepare year-end financial statements.
• Calculate corporation tax and personal tax liabilities; offer tax planning ideas.
• Work with managers and other departments to support service delivery.
• Engage with clients daily to understand their business and deliver great experience.
• Lead, coach and develop the accounts trainees.
