Job summary

Meraki Talent's Corporate and Fund Services client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Jersey team. The role supports the Accounting Manager, leading Accountants to ensure high-quality work that meets regulatory requirements.

You will manage financial reporting, NAV calculations/reporting, management accounting and statutory financial statements across a diverse client base, spanning various fund structures and SPVs. A leading role in client servicing and project activity is expected.

Qualifications

• Holds ACCA, ICAS, CIMA or equivalent.
• Knowledge of UK and/or US GAAP, IFRS.
• Investran experience is a plus.
• Strong client service and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience mentoring junior colleagues beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support the Accounting Manager in the team's operations and assist in the leadership of the Accountants within the team ensuring work is high quality and meets regulatory requirements
• Take responsibility for financial reporting, NAV calculations/reporting, management accounting, stat financial statements for assigned client base - across a wide range of fund structures and SPVs
• Take a leading role in client servicing and project/change activity

Background

• Holds a relevant accounting qualification (ACCA, ICAS, CIMA, or other international equivalent)
• Financial Reporting standards knowledge (UK and/or US GAAP, IFRS, ect...)
• Investran experience would be an advantage
• Strong client service and stakeholder management skills
• Experience mentoring or training/supervising junior colleagues would be beneficial
