Are you a recently qualified accountant ready to take your first step into industry? We're partnering with a nationally recognised organisation looking for a Senior Accountant to join their high-performing Group Finance team.

This role offers exposure to regulatory reporting, financial governance, and process improvement from day one. You'll work closely with senior leadership and contribute to Board-level reporting. It's ideal for someone transitioning from practice who wants to broaden their experience, add commercial value, and make a tangible impact in a dynamic business environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the preparation of regulatory reports for external bodies such as the FCA and PRA.
• Produce reports for Boards and Audit Committees on financial and regulatory compliance.
• Manage financial accounting for multiple legal entities within the group.
• Liaise across departments to ensure business decisions comply with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and implement changes in governance or regulation affecting the business.
• Support refinancing activities by preparing financial covenant compliance reports.
• Drive improvements in the Group-wide control environment, identifying and resolving control gaps.
• Collaborate with IT, Risk, and external auditors to implement best practice controls.
• Develop and oversee testing plans for internal controls.
• Prepare executive summaries of the internal controls environment.
• Recommend and implement updates aligned with regulatory and industry developments.

What You'll Bring:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (1+ years PQE preferred).
• Strong technical accounting and IFRS knowledge.
• Experience with financial regulatory reporting and internal controls.
• Ability to work effectively with external auditors and present to senior stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Constructive challenger with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Highly organized and capable of delivering under pressure.
