Job summary

Xeinadin Weybridge is seeking a Senior Accountant to deliver high-quality accounting and advisory services to a diverse client portfolio from our Weybridge office. You will manage multiple client accounts, ensuring accuracy, timely delivery, and regulatory compliance while developing value-added solutions.

The role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to mentor junior staff and liaise with HMRC when needed.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified and working towards ACA/ACCA.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in an accountancy practice.
• Experience preparing statutory accounts for SMEs, limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
• Experience managing client relationships and acting as a primary contact.
• Strong knowledge of cloud accounting, especially Xero.
• Experience working with bookkeeping teams and reviewing records.
• Progression towards ACA or ACCA qualification.
• Familiarity with Sage 50 Accounts and accounts production software.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and build strong relationships.
• Provide proactive accounting, financial and business advisory support.
• Prepare and review statutory accounts and corporation tax returns.
• Transition clients to cloud accounting solutions and improve processes.
• Collaborate with the bookkeeping team to ensure accurate records and deadlines.
