The successful candidate will have ACA/ACCA (or qualified by experience), at least 2 years in UK practice, and strong client-facing skills. The role emphasizes ownership, accuracy, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification, or be qualified by experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a UK accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and taxation.
• Experience managing client relationships.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Independent and proactive team member.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory accounts for a range of clients.
• Prepare management accounts and provide financial information to clients.
• Prepare corporation tax computations and returns.
• Manage a portfolio of clients as main contact for accounting and taxation queries.
• Ensure assignments are completed accurately within deadlines.
• Review work by junior colleagues and guide them.
• Liaise with clients to understand requirements and advise.
• Support senior colleagues with ad hoc tasks and identify service improvements.
