Job summary

A leading accounting practice in Birmingham is seeking a motivated Senior Accountant / Client Manager to manage a diverse client portfolio. This role offers excellent client exposure, autonomy, and opportunities for professional growth. Ideal candidates will be ACA/ACCA qualified with experience in bookkeeping and tax compliance, and skilled at mentoring junior team members. Competitive salary of £45,000-£50,000, inclusive of benefits such as 25 days annual leave, employer pension contributions, and training support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' post-qualified practice experience.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management accounts.
• Oversee statutory accounts, corporation tax, and personal tax compliance.
• Act as main point of contact for clients.
