Job Description
Joining the firm as a Qualified Senior Accountant based in Yeovil, you will take on increasing responsibility for managing the full hands-on provision of varied accounts, tax, and wider general practice services to a diverse client base. Clients include limited companies, SMEs, OMBs, sole traders, and partnerships, with turnovers up to the audit threshold. Responsibilities include preparing year-end accounts, tax, and general practice services, both hands-on and review roles. You will develop relationships with clients, working with managers and directors on planning and advisory work. You will also assist in managing a team, reviewing work, and supporting junior staff. There is scope to carve a key position and progress your career within this growing office.
The Successful Applicant
You will be ACA or ACCA qualified, or equivalent, with experience in UK-based accountancy practice. You should have recent experience managing accounts, tax, and wider services for a mixed client base, or demonstrate the ability to step into such a role, overseeing delivery for limited companies, SMEs, OMBs, sole traders, and partnerships. You are seeking a challenging, long-term career move within a successful firm of accountants.
What's on Offer
Circa £35,000 - £40,000 plus benefits, negotiable depending on experience and background.
