Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA qualified or QBE.
• Minimum 5 years' UK accountancy practice experience.
• Experience preparing and reviewing statutory accounts.
• Experience managing a client portfolio within a UK practice environment.
• Good understanding of UK corporation tax and VAT requirements.
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of SME clients across sectors.
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts.
• Preparing and reviewing management accounts.
• Preparing corporation tax returns.
• Overseeing VAT returns and compliance.
• Providing proactive client advisory support.
• Attending client meetings and building relationships.
• Mentoring junior accountants and reviewing their work.
• Identifying opportunities to add value and improve service delivery.
