We are seeking a Client Manager / Senior Accountant to join an Accountancy Practice based in their York office. They are a long-standing firm that work with a range of clients from small start-ups through to medium-sized companies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and prepare accounts for a portfolio of clients across various sectors
• Prepare company and individual tax returns
• Review bookkeeping and VAT returns, offering advice where needed
• Handle billing, fee quotes, renewals, debtors, and WIP
• Work closely with clients, providing regular support and advice
• Supervise and manage workflow of team members
• Support business development and attract new clients
• Mentor and develop junior team members
What We're Looking For:
• Experience in practice as a Client Manager or Senior Accountant
• Strong client relationship and advisory skills
• Proven leadership and team development experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Solid technical knowledge in general accounting
