Stafflex are proud to be working with an established and reputable accountancy firm based in Huddersfield to recruit a Senior Accountant on a permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied portfolio of clients while supporting junior team members and contributing to the ongoing success of the practice. Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and submission of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  
• Completion and filing of personal and corporation tax returns
  
• Reviewing and supporting work from junior staff (including a Semi-Senior)
  
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, building strong working relationships
  
• Ensuring compliance and timely submissions across all work areas
  

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience working within an accountancy practice
  
• ACCA or ACA qualified, part-qualified, finalist, or qualified by experience
  
• Strong working knowledge of personal and corporate tax
  
• Comfortable managing a high turnover and varied client base
  
• Familiarity with systems such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks is desirable
  
• Local to Huddersfield or able to reliably commute
