The Role

We are a growing mid-market professional services organisations with a clear vision to be the no. 1 in the mid-market. We are growing our Accounts team and looking for someone to join us at our city centre office as an Accounts Senior. This person will assist in ensuring all accounts preparation reports are prepared effectively and to a high standard.

Over the last three decades, we’ve grown with our clients into a nationwide firm offering a diverse range of accountancy, tax, legal, and financial services for clients big and small. We’ve since expanded into a nationwide network spanning London, Birmingham, Manchester, Blackburn, Leeds, Leicester and Dewsbury.

We employ over 225 people, who are all specialists in their field offering a tailored service depending on a client’s needs. We’re also a great unified team, complementing each other’s technical knowledge and network of contacts to offer additional value where possible.

What You'll be Doing

• Preparing accounts from trial balances and manual records
• Preparation of corporation tax return and computations
• Preparation of VAT returns on a monthly basis
• Managing your own workload and filing deadlines
• Providing a high level of customer service and tax advice to clients
• Assisting managers with the mentoring of junior staff
• Demonstrating a high level of communication skills with the ability to adapt your approach depending on the client
