Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment in East Grinstead is seeking a Client Manager to join a growing accountancy practice. The role offers hybrid working with up to four days a week from home, and a salary up to £60k DOE.

You will manage a mixed portfolio across accounts and tax, oversee junior staff, and provide accounting, tax and business advice. Full-time hours Mon-Fri, 9:00–17:30.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years accountancy practice experience.
• ACCA or ACA qualification preferred.
• Knowledge of CCH, Sage and Xero is useful, but not essential.
• Must live within a commutable distance of East Grinstead.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of sole trade and company accounts.
• Preparation of self assessment tax returns.
• Preparation of partnership and company tax returns.
• Reviewing bookkeeping, VAT returns and management accounts.
• Providing accounting, tax and business advice to clients.
• Supporting and reviewing work of junior staff.

Job Title: Client Manager

Location: East Grinstead, (4 days a week working from home)

Package: £45-60k (DOE), hybrid working, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, private medical, and more

Working Hours: Full time, Monday-Friday, 9:00am-17:30pm
