Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for public service and financial excellence? Tower Hamlets Council is looking for aSenior Accountant supporting Communities Directorate to help shape the future of one of London’s most vibrant and diverse boroughs.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Acting as a Finance Business Partner to Directors, Heads of Service, and budget managers.
• Leading financial planning, modelling, and forecasting for complex service areas.
• Managing a small team and delivering high-quality financial insight and reporting.
• Supporting the Council’s Medium-Term Financial Strategy and annual budget process.
• Playing a key role in closing the annual accounts and ensuring compliance with audit and regulatory standards.
