Job summary

IPS Group is seeking an accountant with current or recent accountancy practice experience in Leeds. The role offers a mix of year end accounting work and involvement in tax returns, with scope to supervise junior staff and contribute to management accounts.

Candidates may be qualified by experience, AAT, or fully qualified accountants, with experience using Iris, Xero, QuickBooks and Sage.

Qualifications

• Experience in accountancy practice is required.
• Open to qualified by experience, AAT or qualified accountants.
• Involvement in year end accounting and personal/corporate tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Prepare personal and corporate tax returns.
• Liaise with clients regarding accounts and tax issues.
• Review junior staff work.
• Produce management accounts.

Role with a firm of Chartered Accountants offering a mix of year end accounting work along with the opportunity to have a full involvement in the preparation of tax returns.

We are looking for an accountant with current or recent accountancy practice experience. This role is open to qualified by experience , AAT or qualified accountants.

Some of the key duties include;

• Preparation of statutory year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.


• Personal and corporate tax returns.


• Liaising with clients regarding accounts, tax returns and other issues.


• Review of junior staff work.


• Management accounts.
