Venatu Consulting Ltd client is seeking a Senior Accountant in Lancaster to join a growing and supportive practice. You will manage a portfolio of clients, prepare year-end accounts, VAT returns, and provide accounting guidance.

The role requires 2+ years in an accountancy practice, strong UK tax knowledge, and good communication and organisational skills. AAT, ACCA/ACA part-qualification are advantageous.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years' experience within an accountancy practice.
• Experience with sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Experience preparing accounts, bookkeeping and VAT returns.
• UK accounting and tax compliance knowledge.

Are you an experienced accountant looking to join a growing and supportive accountancy practice with a great team culture?
Our client has a team of seven accountants and, due to continued growth, is looking for an additional Senior Accountant to join the business.
Duties include:

• Managing a portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Preparing year-end accounts and financial statements.
• Bookkeeping, including bank reconciliations.
• Preparing VAT and tax returns.
• Supporting with salaries and dividends.
• Providing clients with accounting and tax guidance.
• Monitoring client cash positions and providing financial advice.
• Building strong, long-term client relationships.
• Managing workloads and ensuring deadlines are met.

Experience required:

• 2+ years' experience within an accountancy practice.
• Experience working with sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Experience preparing accounts, bookkeeping and VAT returns.
• Good knowledge of UK accounting and tax compliance.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
