Job summary

Edenbrook in London is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing international specialty insurance business. You’ll develop financial processes, support management reporting and planning, and deliver accurate reporting across UK and US operations.

Working within a small finance team, you’ll gain broad exposure to the function as the business scales, taking ownership of processes, improving controls, and collaborating with outsourced providers and external auditors.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
• Approximately three years’ post-qualification experience.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Experience in management and financial reporting.
• A proactive, curious and adaptable approach, with an interest in technology and process improvement.

Working within a small, growing finance team, you’ll play a key role in developing financial processes, supporting management reporting and planning, and delivering accurate financial reporting across UK and US operations. This is an opportunity to gain broad exposure to the finance function and help shape how it operates as the business grows.

• Preparing management reports, financial analysis and performance commentary.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
• Assisting with month-end close, group reporting, reconciliations and audits.

About you:
