Insite Group is seeking a Senior Accountant in Chester to join the accounts team and take ownership of a varied client portfolio. You will work on year-end accounts, taxation, and advisory services while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or working across a portfolio of varied clients
• Strong understanding of accounts preparation and taxation
• Experience working with owner-managed businesses
• Good communication skills and confidence dealing directly with clients
• A commercial and solutions-focused approach
• Strong organisation and the ability to manage competing deadlines
• An interest in technology and modern accounting systems
• Experience with CCH would be advantageous, although not essential
• A willingness to support and develop more junior colleagues

• Preparing corporation tax and personal tax computations
• Identifying opportunities for tax planning and wider business advice
