A consulting firm in Basingstoke is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in FRS 102 and proven skills in consolidation and statutory accounting. This role offers a salary of up to £65,000 plus excellent benefits and a hybrid working arrangement. Candidates must be fully qualified accountants and comfortable in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA or equivalent).
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence senior stakeholders.
• Solid experience in consolidation, statutory accounting and FRS 102.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical accounting guidance to global and regional finance teams.

Our client, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their dynamic central finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant with FRS 102 expertise to take on a varied role within a complex environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical accounting guidance to global and regional finance teams.
• Maintain and update accounting policies in line with FRS 102/UK GAAP and business changes.
• Prepare and produce annual statutory accounts for subsidiary companies, liaising with
• external auditors to ensure accurate and timely completion.
• You will be responsible for ensuring robust inter-company accounting procedures, prepare and produce annual statutory accounts as well as accounting.
• Identify and implement improvements to the year-end financial close process.
• Collaborate on ad hoc finance projects, including insurance data collation and internal initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA or equivalent)
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence senior stakeholders.
