Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACCA/ACA/ICAEW or equivalent; QBE considered with relevant practice experience.
• Strong technical knowledge with up-to-date compliance standards.
• Experience in an accountancy practice or firm as Financial Accountant, Client Manager, Practice Accountant, Senior Accountant or similar.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing statutory and management accounts.
• Overseeing self-assessment, corporation tax and partnership tax returns.
• Assisting clients with tax planning, including dividend and interest planning calculations.
• Providing financial advice and identifying opportunities to support clients' business objectives.
• Guiding junior colleagues and developing their technical knowledge.

Your role

• Preparing and reviewing statutory and management accounts

• Guiding junior colleagues and developing their technical knowledge

What you'll bring

• A qualified accountant, ACCA or ACA / ICAEW or equivalent, although QBE's with prior experience in an accountancy firm will also be considered
• Technically strong, constantly up to date with adaptations in compliance standards
• Previous experience gained within an accountancy practice / firm as a Financial Accountant, Client Manager, Practice Accountant, Senior Accountant or similar
• IT skills including Excel and any accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, TaxCalc etc).
