Senior Account Manager - Preconnect

Description

You will identify and secure permission from landlords and asset managers to install our 'Preconnect' solution into commercial properties across the UK. Critical to the role is qualifying each opportunity commercially, with a focus on securing 'on-net' properties or 'off-net' properties where the owner is prepared to cover the operational costs until occupier revenue is realised.

You will build a strong relationship with your clients securing landlord service opportunities where possible, acting as the key point of contact between their Building Operators and Lettings Agents to introduce them to our Preconnect Sales Team in order to maximise revenue across our Connected Building portfolio.

Crucial to the role is working closely with the Head of Preconnect to maintain a competitive proposition in an ever changing market and to provide feedback on organisational process improvements to streamline the delivery of our Live Preconnect solution.

This roles comes with additional OTE Commission

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting landlord portfolios and individual commercial properties suitable for our Preconnect solution.
  • Identify commercially viable opportunities with a focus 'on-net'.
  • Develop and action strategic account and outbound plans.
  • Relationship development and management of Commercial Property landlords/owners.
  • Accurate CRM recording.
  • Negotiate agreement terms with support from the in-house legal representation.
  • Maximise revenue opportunities at each building by discussing landlord/owner connectivity and managed services requirements, offering our add ons and making introductions to the Preconnect Sales Team.
  • Work closely with the Planning, Operations and Sales teams to ensure closed opportunities are delivered on time and produce the expected ROI.
  • Work with the Head of Preconnect to ensure the Preconnect Proposition is developed in line with market trends.
  • Achieve signed agreements monthly quota inline with the level of your role.

Essential Requirements

  • 4+ years of proven performance in a sales, account management or business development environment.
  • 2+ years experience within the telecommunications and/or commercial property sector.
  • Experience working towards a variety of targets
  • Get-up and get-em attitude, nothing phases you
  • Ability to plan and organise your work effectively to meet changing environments and needs
  • To be able to communicate at all levels, with excellent written and oral skills
  • To be self-motivated and to be able to motivate others, to be reliable and to be able to act with responsibility
  • The ideal candidate will have experience dealing with wayleaves however this is not essential.
  • IT skills required with specific reference to the Microsoft or Google suite of packages
  • You are strategic and always looking for ways to improve
  • You are organised and able to manage multiple opportunities at once.
  • You may be required to travel for this role so a full driving licence is required.

Whilst the role is predominantly Monday to Friday, a flexible approach to working days and hours as required by the needs of the business is essential for the purposes of activities such as reporting, events and client meetings outside of normal business hours.
