Job Description

You will identify and secure permission from landlords and asset managers to install our ‘Preconnect’ solution into commercial properties across the UK. Critical to the role is qualifying each opportunity commercially, with a focus on securing ‘on-net’ properties or ‘off-net’ properties where the owner is prepared to cover the operational costs until occupier revenue is realised.

You will build strong relationships with your clients, securing landlord service opportunities where possible, acting as the key point of contact between their Building Operators and Lettings Agents to introduce them to our Preconnect Sales Team to maximize revenue across our Connected Building portfolio.

Crucial to the role is working closely with the Head of Preconnect to maintain a competitive proposition in an ever-changing market and to provide feedback on organisational process improvements to streamline the delivery of our Live Preconnect solution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting landlord portfolios and individual commercial properties suitable for our Preconnect solution.
  • Identify commercially viable opportunities with a focus on ‘on-net’.
  • Develop and implement strategic account and outbound plans.
  • Manage relationships with Commercial Property landlords/owners.
  • Accurately record activities in CRM.
  • Negotiate agreement terms with support from in-house legal team.
  • Maximize revenue opportunities at each building by discussing connectivity and managed services requirements, offering add-ons, and introducing clients to the Preconnect Sales Team.
  • Collaborate with Planning, Operations, and Sales teams to ensure timely delivery of opportunities and expected ROI.
  • Work with the Head of Preconnect to develop the proposition in line with market trends.
  • Achieve signed agreements to meet monthly quotas.
  • Have 4+ years of proven performance in sales, account management, or business development.
  • Have 2+ years experience in telecommunications and/or commercial property sector.
  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude and ability to handle targets and multiple opportunities.
  • Possess excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Be self-motivated and reliable, capable of acting responsibly.
  • Experience dealing with wayleaves is a plus, but not essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft or Google suite of packages.
  • Be strategic and continuously seek improvements.
  • Be organized and capable of managing multiple opportunities.
  • A full driving license is required as travel may be necessary.

The role is primarily Monday to Friday, but flexibility in working hours is essential for activities outside normal hours, such as reporting, events, and client meetings.
