Job summary

IPS Group Limited in Milton Keynes is seeking a Senior Account Handler in Commercial & Schemes to manage renewals, mid-term adjustments, and day-to-day servicing. You will work closely with Account Executives and Client Directors on renewal strategy and insurer negotiations, while supporting client meetings and renewal discussions.

This role offers exposure to the wider broking process, enabling work on varied and complex commercial risks with strong client and insurer relationships.

Some Commercial Account Handler roles are built around processing work.

Others put you at the centre of the broking process.

This opportunity sits within a well-established commercial insurance team of around 25 people, supporting a broad portfolio of businesses and working closely alongside Account Executives and Client Directors on renewal strategy, insurer negotiations and client retention.

You’ll be involved in far more than simply servicing policies. The role offers genuine exposure to the wider broking process, giving you the opportunity to work on varied and often complex commercial risks while building strong relationships with both clients and insurers.

The team is large enough to provide support and collaboration but structured in a way that allows individuals to make a real impact. It’s an environment where experienced handlers are trusted, valued and encouraged to contribute.

The role you’ll be responsible for

• Confidence dealing directly with insurers and clients
• Acturis experience would be beneficial
• A collaborative approach and genuine interest in delivering quality outcomes for clients
