A market leading, independent Insurance Broker is looking for a Senior Account Handler to join their team. They are a well-respected broker within the insurance industry with over 50 years of experience working with an impressive client base.

In this role, you will be responsible for handling a book of business that includes premiums up to £150,000 across general commercial lines.

The Role

• Handling your own renewal book of business and managing the renewal process from start to finish while looking for new opportunities and cross-selling.
• Efficiently and effectively handling commercial clients daily, servicing and developing these relationships.
• Assisting Account Executives in administrative tasks for larger accounts, including writing client reports.
• Competent technical ability in all aspects of commercial insurance business, including commercial combined insurance, fleet, marine, professional indemnity, and Directors & Officers.
• Good technical and administrative knowledge of dealing with claims.
• A high competence in regulatory compliance relating to the day-to-day handling of commercial business.
• Experience with the Acturis system is desired but not essential.

The Candidate:

• A minimum of 3 years' comprehensive understanding of general commercial insurance within a commercial broking environment.
