Job summary

Premier is seeking an Account Director for a busy PR portfolio in the property and built environment sector. You’ll own senior client relationships, steer strategy and deliver hands-on campaigns across media relations, content and events.

You will lead campaigns, guide junior team members, manage scopes and budgets, and identify opportunities for account growth. A commercial mindset and strong writing and presentation skills are essential in a collaborative, entrepreneurial agency.

Qualifications

• Strong agency-side PR experience, within property, real estate, or the built environment.
• Account Director-level experience, or significant experience at equivalent level.
• Strong media relations experience and established relationships across relevant media.
• Experience delivering both strategic and hands-on communications programmes.
• Excellent client management and communication skills, with the confidence to provide senior counsel.
• Experience working on reputation, issues and crisis communications.
• A commercial mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for account growth.
• Experience contributing to or leading new business proposals and pitches.
• The ability to direct and develop junior colleagues.
• A hands-on and adaptable approach, with the ability to move between strategy and delivery.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Sound judgement, curiosity and a solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of a portfolio of clients, acting as a senior day-to-day contact and trusted adviser.
• Developing and leading strategic communications programmes aligned with clients' wider objectives.
• Delivering integrated communications across PR, media relations, content, social media and events.
• Remaining hands-on with campaign development, drafting, media engagement and delivery.
• Building strong relationships across relevant media.
• Providing senior counsel on reputation, issues and crisis communications.
• Preparing clients for media interviews and supporting media training where required.
• Directing and supporting junior team members across your accounts.
• Taking ownership of account planning, scopes, budgets and resources.
• Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and develop new areas of work.
• Contributing to new business activity, including opportunity identification, proposals, creative development and pitching.
• Supporting the continued development of the agency's client offering and market presence.
