Senior Account Director

We are looking to hire a new Senior Account Director to join our growing lifestyle team in Fabric. You’ll be experienced across Consumer lifestyle PR, social, and lifestyle big brands with a collaborative and creative mindset and an eye on culture. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to leverage their Consumer lifestyle PR experience while working with some truly exciting big brands.

About the Role

As a Senior Account Director on the FABRIC team, you will lead client business, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards and meets the client’s strategic objectives, on time and within budget.

You will oversee earned media strategy and output across PR, Communications, Social, Influencer/Talent, and Activation, demonstrating knowledge across a breadth of earned media disciplines. You will play a key role in the wider agency business, with commercial awareness, an entrepreneurial spirit, and an understanding of our business and financial objectives. You will be a team leader who inspires and nurtures your colleagues.

About You
  • Broad awareness of cultural trends, including youth and hype culture, music, fashion, pop culture, consumer lifestyle, and fitness, with an interest and knowledge in these areas.
  • Ability to apply cultural insights to shape and inform work and creative strategies.
  • High-level relationships with key media spanning consumer lifestyle, hype, music, fashion, and news (both UK and global). Luxury and consumer tech media experience is a plus.
  • Strong network of KOLs (Influencers, Talent, and Creators) and awareness of emerging voices and platforms.
  • Creative confidence in presenting ideas internally and to clients.
  • Strategic and creative excellence in developing client campaigns from conception to delivery across earned media disciplines.
  • Full responsibility and accountability for your accounts.
  • Exceptional client management skills, building close relationships and providing sound strategic, creative, and operational advice.
  • Excellent project and account management skills across multiple clients and workstreams.
  • Ability to generate evaluation reports using industry tools (e.g., Cision, Gorkana, DMS, CreatorIQ) to inform results.
  • Leadership qualities to inspire and oversee team members.
  • Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Financial and budgeting expertise.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, adaptable to different clients and marketing disciplines.
What You'll Bring
Responsibilities

Marketing and earned media

  • Ensure earned media output is central to all client work.
  • Understand how PR supports clients' business objectives and provide strategic counsel accordingly.

Media Contacts & Management

  • Strong knowledge of media and earned landscape to advise your team and clients effectively.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with key high-level media across relevant sectors.
  • Manage your team to deliver rich editorial opportunities.
  • Monitor client coverage and address issues proactively.

Social Media

  • Define relevant strategies based on client briefs and objectives.
  • Understand the digital media landscape related to your client’s presence and goals.
  • Incorporate digital mechanics into responses and campaigns.
  • Manage cross-agency digital structures and stay informed about emerging technology to innovate client solutions.
  • Provide strategic counsel based on social objectives and competitor analysis.
  • Review and approve social content and reports, ensuring alignment with broader strategies.

Campaign Execution

  • Oversee planning and implementation of client campaigns and activations.
  • Ensure high standards, timeliness, and budget compliance.
  • Focus on results-driven campaign execution and effective problem-solving.
  • Lead the creation of evaluation and wrap-up reports.

Account Administration

  • Supervise Account Managers and Executives in daily tasks, ensuring quality and deadlines.
  • Lead meetings to ensure productivity and clarity.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Provide guidance, support, and leadership to your team.
  • Be viewed as a reliable and inspiring leader.

Client Services

  • Show genuine interest in clients' businesses.
  • Ensure prompt responses to client requests and maintain high communication standards.
  • Coordinate resource planning with other senior team members.

Financial Management

  • Manage budgets effectively, including forecasting, reporting, and reconciliation.
  • Ensure compliance with finance processes, estimate campaign costs, and oversee invoicing and PO tracking.
