Job summary

The Methodist Church in Britain invites applications for a Professor of Restorative Dentistry in the School of Medicine and Dentistry. The role leads postgraduate programmes in endodontology, prosthodontics, periodontology and implantology, shaping curricula, clinical education, and research strategy.

A PhD and GDC registration are required, with restorative specialist experience. The appointee will drive external partnerships, develop new educational initiatives, and strengthen research

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent.
• Clinical qualification indicating restorative specialism in clinical dentistry.
• Formal teaching qualification, or willingness to obtain one within 2 years of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across postgraduate programmes in endodontology, prosthodontics, periodontology and implantology.
