Job summary

Armada Music in London is seeking a Senior A&R Manager to scout new artists and repertoire using data and strong musical judgment. You will build relationships with artists, management, labels and rights holders and drive deals that strengthen the catalogue.

You will work with an international A&R team, report to the Head of Music, and play a key role in developing the commercial strength of our catalogue by identifying and acquiring repertoire with strong market potential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an A&R role within the music industry.
• Strong understanding of the global electronic music landscape.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Scout proactively across streaming platforms, social media, charts and A&R tools to identify artists and repertoire.
• Combine data, market insights and musical taste to assess commercial potential of artists and acquisitions.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities with artists, management and labels.
• Lead deal-making, build commercial cases and negotiate key terms with legal teams.
• Identify licensing, acquisition and other opportunities to strengthen Armada Music’s catalogue.
• Provide clear briefings and act as a key A&R contact post-signing through release.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Publishing, Operations and Finance to exploit signed repertoire.
• Monitor performance of signed projects and report outcomes to Head of Music.
