Job summary

Noema in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Software and Integration Engineer to bring breakthrough 5G RAN algorithms into commercial-grade deployments.

You will work at the heart of turning research into real-world, deployable infrastructure, integrating advanced MIMO signal processing into live RAN platforms and helping define the engineering foundations as the company scales toward 6G, NTN and defence-grade deployments.

Qualifications

• Strong C/C++ programming with 5G RAN experience.
• Solid understanding of NR L1/L2 and related interfaces.
• Experience with MIMO, HARQ, and MAC scheduling.
• Linux-based development experience and real-time DSP optimisations.
• Familiarity with OpenAirInterface or srsRAN is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate software for 5G RAN across PHY/MAC.
• Implement and integrate MIMO signal processing into RAN platforms.
• Optimise real-time workloads for low-latency baseband architectures.
• Support system integration, testing, and performance evaluation.
• Collaborate with algorithm, software, and hardware engineers.
