Meridian Space UK Limited is building sovereign space infrastructure through advanced 5G NTN testing and a Space Lab. We seek a hands-on RAN & Core Integration Engineer to drive the design, build, operation, and automation of critical testing infrastructure tied to our satellite networks.

You will lead multi-disciplinary work across network integration, lab architecture, and automation, addressing the unique NTN challenges in a LEo environment while collaborating with RF, RAN, and systems teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, telecommunications, or a related field.
• Strong coding and scripting skills (Python, Bash, C++) for lab automation and CI/CD.
• Deep understanding of 3GPP NG-RAN and 5G Core (5GC) architectures.
• Hands-on experience building telecom testbeds or lab environments.
• Experience with 5G NTN concepts and LEO satellite challenges.
• Excellent collaboration and communication across RF, RAN, core, and software teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead design, procurement, and physical build-out of complex 5G NTN testbeds and Space Lab.
• Integrate, operate, and troubleshoot 5G Core and NG-RAN elements in lab environments.
• Develop automation scripts, tools, and CI/CD pipelines for test execution and KPI measurements.
• Address Doppler, delays, and fading challenges in NTN within a LEO setting.
• Collaborate with RAN, RF, and systems architects for end-to-end coherence.
• Help design and operate lab environments used to validate architecture and configurations.
